Basic Computer

We cover essential topics such as basic computer operations, internet safety, and the use of educational software. By integrating technology into our curriculum, we aim to enhance our students’ learning experiences, foster their independence, and prepare them for future opportunities.

Dance

 In our weekly school sessions, we usually select a song based on
the occasion – Independence Day, Navratri, or any other celebration. We
break the song into smaller parts and teach dance steps to the students. The
students learn so much through this process.

Sports

Our goal is to create a fun and supportive environment where every child can enjoy the benefits of physical activity, develop a love for sports, and experience the joy of achievement.

Early intervention can also reduce the need for more intensive and costly services later in life.

Remedial Education

Remedial education can be provided in various settings, such as regular classrooms, special education classrooms, or tutoring centers. Remedial education can address various areas of learning, such as reading, writing, math, or social skills. The goal of remedial education is to help students with special needs develop the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.

NIOS – OBE

NIOS – OBE for special kids The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers Open Basic Education (OBE) for children with special needs. OBE is a flexible and learner-centered alternative to formal schooling that caters to the diverse learning needs and abilities of children with disabilities. OBE provides opportunities for children with special needs to access quality education at their own pace, place and convenience. OBE also aims to develop their life skills, vocational skills and social skills through various curricular and co-curricular activities. OBE is recognized by the Ministry of Education as equivalent to elementary education (classes I-VIII).

The program offers various activities and tasks that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child, such as arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, computer skills, and more. The program also fosters social and emotional skills, such as communication, teamwork, self-confidence, and problem-solving. Pre-Vocational Training for special kids is a valuable opportunity for children to explore their potential and discover their talents in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Group Therapy

Group therapy for special kids is a form of psychotherapy that involves a therapist working with a small group of children who share similar challenges or needs. Dance

Dance provides significant therapeutic, physical, and emotional benefits for special needs students, enhancing coordination, strength, and self
expression. It improves body awareness and social engagement, reducing anxiety and increasing self-esteem. Regular dance sessions promote physical and mental health, muscular strength, and imitation skills, allowing students to learn through observing simple, repetitive movements set to music. In small group settings, dance fosters interaction, reducing feelings of isolation and building rapport among peers. It may also contribute to minimizing negative symptoms in adults with normal to high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Regular dance sessions help students and teachers understand each other better, supporting their educational journey.

Basic Computer

In today’s digital world, computer literacy is an essential skill for every child. Our Basic Computer program introduces special children to the fundamentals of computing in a supportive and inclusive environment. We cover essential topics such as basic computer operations, internet safety, and the use of educational software. Sports

Physical activity plays a vital role in the overall development of children, promoting not only physical health but also social and emotional well-being. Our Sports program is designed to cater to the unique needs of differently abled children, offering a range of adaptive sports and recreational activities. Through inclusive games, teamwork exercises, and individualized coaching, we help our students build strength, coordination, and self-esteem. Our goal is to create a fun and supportive environment where every child can enjoy the benefits of physical activity, develop a love for sports, and experience the joy of achievement.
